Give your child a school holidays they'll love with The Y’s Day camps. Your child will make friends, interact with caring adults, and enjoy fun in the outdoors. Day camps with The Y are led by experienced staff and offers nearly all the benefits of overnight camp – new outdoor experiences, skill–building and lasting friendships – in beautiful, breath-taking outdoor settings, while allowing campers to return home each afternoon.
Day camps give kids a holiday getaway and offer parents a break from day-care. Kids scoot off to camp for the day, make new friends, learn new skills, and get home in time for dinner. Our Y Outdoors team understands that it’s tough for some of our campers to be away from home (and for their parents) so that’s why we offer a programme that gives campers the ‘camp experience’ without the hassle of staying over.
The Y overnight camp experiences can stretch from one night to a whole week and are led by a dedicated team of staff who ensure campers enjoy outdoor adventures and build new friendships that last a lifetime.
Overnight camps offer total immersion that allows campers to build strong friendships and a sense of community. This is the quintessential camp experience: at overnight camp, your child will learn how to build a campfire, tell ghost stories, and fall asleep to the sound of moreporks in the skies. And they will gather - and help create - memories to last a lifetime. The Y sleepaway camps are where kids can dare, discover, and dream.
