Welcome to The Y Lagoon Stadium! Our facility boasts a range of amenities, including basketball courts, a dance studio, and even a boxing gym used by our regular hirer BoxFit. For young basketball enthusiasts, we have Y-Panthers Kids Basketball, providing a fun and engaging experience. When the stadium is not booked, we also offer casual play and the opportunity to enjoy pickleball. If you have a specific activity in mind that is not currently available, you can easily book our venue and organize your own event. Our stadium hosts a variety of sports such as badminton, pickleball, basketball, volleyball, and futsal. We can't wait to welcome you to The Y Lagoon Stadium, where exciting experiences await!

Casual Basketball

You can come in and play casual basketball anytime our courts are not booked. Call us to find out whether we have time slots available for casual basketball. Alternatively, we have set times booked for casual ballers to come in and work on their game.

Pickleball

Pickleball is a sport that is quickly growing in popularity here in NZ. It is played on a badminton-sized court with a waist height net, and has similarities to tennis, but is played with a hard paddle and a perforated hollow plastic ball. The game is easy to learn, and it is a great way to stay active and have fun for all ages.

Casual Dance

You are welcome to drop by our dance studio anytime when our dance floors are not reserved. Feel free to give us a call to inquire about the availability of time slots for casual dance sessions.
