We have a mixed clientele of overseas and NZ visitors and are a small, very connected team that work well together, provide excellent customer service and love to celebrate our successes. This is a full time role, offering 40 hours per week. This role requires flexibility to work a 24/7 rotaWting roster - including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
What will you be doing?
- Maintain effective communication with all departments and ensure they are fully briefed on group arrivals and any special requirements.
- Promote guest satisfaction in an effort to obtain repeat business.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures in all areas of responsibility according with local laws.
- Process overflow reservations outside of central reservations hours and when required.
- Ensure the centre is always clean, tidy and well-presented ensuring all cleaning is carried out in a timely manner without inconveniencing participants
What experience/skills do you need?
- A minimum of 1 years of Front Line experience in the hotel, leisure, and/or retail sector is highly desirable
- Competent with Microsoft based software & PMS system.
- Problem solving ability: Can actively find solutions and seek support when necessary
- Communication skills: Expresses ideas and information effectively, both orally and in writing. Actively listens, drawing out information and checking understanding. Clear spoken English.
- Has good time management and organisational skills: Ability to multi-task and work to deadline. Values time and uses it effectively.
