Early Learning 30 Hours Free Promotion Terms and Conditions
These Promotional Terms and Conditions apply in addition to the standard The Y North Early Learning Centre enrolment terms and policies. Where there is any inconsistency, these Promotional Terms apply for the duration of the promotion.
1. Promoters
This promotion is run by YMCA North Inc. (The Y North), Cnr Pitt St & Greys Ave, Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand (“the Promoter”).
2. Promotion Period
The promotion runs from 6 March 2026 to 3 April 2026 at 11:59pm NZT (“Promotion Period”). To qualify for the promotion, enrolment must be completed during the Promotion Period.
3. Eligibility
3.1 The promotion is available to new enrolments only at participating The Y North Early Learning Centres.
3.2 Families must not have held an active enrolment at a The Y North Early Learning Centre within the 30 days prior to enrolment to qualify for the promotion.
3.3 The promotion applies per child enrolled and cannot be transferred between children or families.
3.4 The promotion is available at the following participating The Y North Early Learning Centres:
- Beach Haven Early Learning Centre
- Birkdale Early Learning Centre
- Ellerslie Early Learning Centre
- Massey Early Learning Centre
- Manurewa Early Learning Centre
- Hamilton Early Learning Centre
3.5 Enrolment is subject to availability at each participating centre.
3.6 Participation in the promotion constitutes acceptance of these Promotional Terms and the standard The Y North Early Learning Centre enrolment policies.
4. Definitions
For the purposes of these Promotional Terms:
“Free Hours” means the promotional allocation of 30 hours of early learning per week for three months, applied to the enrolled child’s scheduled attendance.
“Participating Centres” means the Early Learning Centres listed in clause 3.4.
5. Promotional Offer
5.1 Eligible families who enrol during the Promotion Period will receive 30 hours of free early learning per week for three months.
5.2 The promotional free hours will apply from the child’s confirmed start date at the centre.
5.3 Free hours apply only to the child’s agreed enrolment schedule and attended hours.
5.4 Any hours exceeding the promotional allocation will be charged at the centre’s standard rates.
5.5 Free hours cannot be transferred, accumulated, exchanged for cash, or redeemed as credit.
5.6 This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer unless expressly approved by the Promoter.
6. Redemption
6.1 To redeem the promotion, the child must commence attendance within 7 days of enrolment confirmation.
6.2 If the child does not begin attending within this timeframe, the promotional offer may be forfeited at the Promoter’s discretion.
7. Enrolment and Attendance Conditions
7.1 Enrolment and participation in the promotion remain subject to the standard policies and operating requirements of each centre.
7.2 Free hours apply only to scheduled attendance and cannot be applied to unused or future attendance periods.
7.3 If enrolment is cancelled during the promotional period, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw or recalculate the promotional benefit to the extent permitted by law.
8. Availability
8.1 Submission of an enquiry does not guarantee placement at a centre.
8.2 The Promoter reserves the right to limit the number of promotional enrolments issued during the Promotion Period.
8.3 The Promoter reserves the right to add or remove participating centres where reasonably necessary.
9. General
9.1 The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw this promotion where reasonably necessary.
9.2 Nothing in these Promotional Terms limits or excludes a consumer’s rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.
