Term 1 Y Programmes Promotion 2026 Terms and Conditions

1. Promoter
This promotion is run by YMCA North Inc. (The Y North), 149 Greys Avenue, Auckland, New Zealand (“the Promoter”).

2. Promotion Period
The promotion runs from 12:01am on 16 January 2026 to 11:59pm on 8 February 2026 (“Promotion Period”).
Enrolments must be completed within the Promotion Period to qualify for the offer.

3. Eligibility
a. The promotion is open to children aged 16 years and under, with enrolment submitted and approved by a parent or legal guardian.

b. Eligibility is limited to participants who enrol in an eligible Term 1 2026 Kids’ Recreation Programme or Swim School programme at a participating The Y North centre during the Promotion Period.

c. Eligible programmes include:
• Basketball Term 1 Recreation Programmes
• Gymnastics Term 1 Programmes
• Swim School Term 1 Programmes (all applicable levels)

d. The following are excluded from eligibility:
• Casual or drop-in attendance outside of term programmes
• Participants currently enrolled in the same activity
• Participants who have been enrolled in the same activity within the previous six (6) months

e. By participating, customers confirm they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

4. Offer
a. Each eligible participant will receive one (1) complimentary session or lesson as part of their Term 1 2026 enrolment.

b. The complimentary session applies as follows:
• One (1) free session for Basketball or Gymnastics programmes
• One (1) free assessment or lesson for Swim School programmes

c. The free session/lesson forms part of the participant’s Term 1 2026 programme enrolment and is not redeemable separately.

d. The free session/lesson is non-transferable, non-refundable, and not redeemable for cash.

5. Booking & Use Requirements
a. The free session/lesson must be booked and redeemed at the centre of enrolment.

b. All sessions are subject to programme capacity and availability.

c. Participants must remain enrolled for the entire duration of Term 1 2026 to retain eligibility for the free session.

d. Failure to attend the scheduled free session/lesson may result in forfeiture of the offer.

6. Limitations
a. One (1) free session/lesson per child.

b. The offer may only be redeemed once and may not be used across multiple centres.

c. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other free or discounted trial offer unless explicitly stated by the Promoter.

7. Supervision & Participation
a. The Y does not take on guardianship duties before, during, or after sessions. This does not apply where a child is attending both a Kids’ Recreation Programme and an OSCAR programme concurrently.

b. Children aged 13 years and under must be accompanied by an adult acting as their guardian, who must remain onsite during the scheduled session.

c. For pre-school programmes, the accompanying adult is required to participate in the session and be dressed appropriately.

8. Safeguarding
a. The Y North is New Zealand’s first Safeguarding Accredited organisation, accredited by the Australian Childhood Foundation (ACF).

b. All staff are recruited under ACF Safer Recruitment processes and complete mandatory Safeguarding Training.

c. Some programmes may, where sector requirements allow, operate under a single-staff model. This practice is formally recognised within staff role descriptions.

9. Privacy & Marketing Consent
a. Personal information collected for this promotion will be used for the purpose of administering the promotion and delivering the relevant programme.

b. By participating, customers consent to The Y contacting them with information relating to the programme and other services offered by The Y.

c. Customers may update their communication preferences or unsubscribe at any time using the links provided in communications or by contacting their centre.

d. Personal information will not be shared with third parties except where necessary for service delivery.

10. General
a. The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the promotion at any time if required.

b. Participation in this promotion indicates acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
