It’s fun to work at The Y!

We are looking for energetic Swim School Teachers to join our Swim School team at Onehunga War Memorial Pool. These are part time roles offering a minimum of 7-10 hours per week based on a roster. Hourly rate of $28.95.


What will you be doing?

· Deliver excellence in customer service at all times.

· Teach all courses, classes and activities in a professional manner to ensure a quality learning experience for all participants.

· Create a fun and friendly environment within the swim school that is welcoming and comfortable to all members, new and old, and encourages a sense of belonging and support.

What experience/skills do you need?

· Previous experience as a swim school teacher is an advantage but not necessary

· An AUTSWIM qualification is an advantage but not necessary

· First Aid or CPR First Aid Certificate is an advantage but not necessary

· Ability to build rapport with all swim school users
