We are looking for a Lifeguard to join our team based at our Cameron Pools and Leisure Centre based in Mount Roskill, Auckland. This is a full time role and the days will depend on the roster which may vary each week.
What will you be doing?
- Monitor the recreation facility make sure swimmers are following safety rules
- Rescue or assist a swimmer who is in trouble
- Make sure pool equipment is kept organised and in good condition
- Keep the pool area clean and safe
- Be responsible for pool maintenance e.g. Conduct pool water tests
- Perform basic first aid
What experience/skills do you need?
- Be a confident swimmer
- Required Qualifications: Support to gain required qualifications can be provided
- PLSA (Pool Lifeguard Skills Award)
- PLPC (Pool Lifeguard Practising Certificate)
- First Aid
