What will you need?
- Confidence in Swimming: A swim test will be part of the process.
- Enthusiasm and Responsibility: Bring your positive energy!
- Cultural Competence: Ability to work effectively with people of all ages and backgrounds.
- Strong Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication is key.
- Team Player Attitude: Great work ethics and a collaborative spirit.
Desired Skills
- PLSA (Pool Lifeguard Skills Award): Desirable but can be attained through training.
- PLPC (Pool Lifeguard Practising Certificate): Desirable but can be attained through training.
- Comprehensive First Aid: Essential for safety.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to think and act quickly.
- Customer Service Experience: Preferable but not mandatory.
