We are looking for a Fitness Trainer to join our team based at the Massey Leisure Centre in Massey. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to consolidate or grow their Fitness Career! This is a parttime role offering a minimum of 24 hours per week.

The current shifts available are:

  • Tuesday, Thursday & Friday, 3pm - 9pm
  • Saturday 7.45am - 4pm

This role is responsible for running the gym floor and will include member consultations, programming and movement coaching, as well as small group training.

What will you be doing?

  • Prescribe and demonstrate exercise
  • Generate a vibrant and inclusive environment
  • Proactively engage with members on the gym floor
  • Ensure healthy and safe practices are followed
  • Member consultations, program shows & reviews
  • Member journey administration
  • Deliver Small Group Training sessions

What experience/skills do you need?

  • Has experience as a Fitness Trainer and/or Group Fitness Instructing
  • Is REPs Registered (or able to be)
  • Holds a Level 3 or above Fitness qualification (or currently studying)
  • Support to gain required qualifications can be provided for the right candidate

KPIs include:

· Promotion of our centre to prospective members to meet monthly sales targets

· Ownership of retention: minimise cancellations and increase referrals through member engagement
