It’s fun to work at the Y!

We are looking for a Basketball Referee to join our team based at the Massey Leisure Centre in Massey. This is a great part time role working across Monday to Saturday.

What will you be doing?

· Officiate our Basketball competitions

· Maintain standards of play and to ensure that game rules and regulations are observed

· Teach and explain the rules, regulations, and etiquette governing Junior and Senior Basketball leagues

· Support in managing stadium logistics to ensure games run on time

What experience/skills do you need?

· Sound knowledge of BBNZ Basketball Rules and Regulations

· Experience in Refereeing live games

· Excellent communication and organisational skills

· Current First Aid Certificate (desirable)
