As the OSCAR Operations Supervisor, you will be completing both administrative tasks and working in the programmes on a day to day basis in the Out of School Care across our centre/schools. Ensuring our staff follow the programming in place and to aid in providing a safe, fun and caring environment for all our children.

This is a great part time opportunity with 20 hours guaranteed, and the opportunity for additional hours as a Team Leader

What will you be doing?

The Operations Supervisor role includes but is not limited to: recruitment, rostering, client bookings, coordinating staff, administrative support, debt control and problem solving.

For the additional hours if interested as an OSCAR Team Leader you will also be responsible for keeping in touch with our staff by leading and working in programmes each day to deliver our planned activities while keeping our tamariki busy, safe and engaged as well as maintaining positive parent relationships. FUN.DONE.RIGHT is the aim, you will be part of the team to deliver programme excellence.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Attention to detail a must
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Highly organised, motivated with the ability to work as a team or independently with great communication skills.
  • Confident and competent on a computer with the willingness to learn
  • An expectation to follow the Y values of honest, caring, respect and responsibility
  • Passion and empathy for working with Children, youth and people in general

What experience/skills do you need?

  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience in working with children of all abilities and needs
  • Minimum one year of people management experience
  • Computer literacy, including working knowledge of Microsoft based programmes, Xero or similiar and experience with software booking systems
  • Strong, numeracy and literacy skills
  • Current First Aid certificate
