Are you looking for a challenge in your new role? Are you ready to hit the ground running and make a positive difference? We are looking for an Operations Manager to join our team based The Y Auckland City! The is a full time role working Monday – Friday.
What will you be doing?
- Recruitment, selection, appointment and induction of Staff
- Conduct staff performance reviews
- Ensure staff are provided with appropriate and ongoing training
- In conjunction with the Centre Manager be responsible for the administration processes and financial performance of the relevant business units
- Generate budgets in conjunction with Centre Manager and manage monthly finances
- Develop reports, comments and actions for rectification on budget variances
- Set all centre KPIs in conjunction with Centre Manager and ensure these are met or exceeded
- Manage the Customer Care sales team and processes including the completion of all paperwork or online sign up. Ensure your team are consistently meeting sales targets.
- Manage the debtors process through to debt collection
- Liase and manage service contractors in conjunction with the Centre Manager
What experience/skills do you need?
- Minimum three (3) years of People Management experience
- Experience in the maintenance and preventative maintenance of a Fitness and Recreation facility or similar
- Has had prior experience in budgeting and business planning
- Knowledge of the recreation and fitness industry is desirable.
